Below you will find information about the Weekly radio Nets held by the Los Angeles County Disaster Communications Service.
 
 
   

The Los Angeles County Disaster Communications Service conducts nets on amateur radio frequencies on Monday and Tuesday as follows;

MONDAY COUNTYWIDE NET
1900 to 2000 Hours (except County holidays)

This Net is for Staff Officers, District Stations, Fire Command and Zebra Operators to check-in, test their equipment and practice message handling skills by receiving weekly news and information and porting their hours worked and activities.


MONDAY DISTRICT NET
1930 Hours (except County holidays)

This Net immediately follows the Countywide Net and allows District Stations to communicate directly with its District Members on their local frequencies.


TUESDAY "NOONTIME" NET

1130 to 1300 Hours (except County holidays)

This Net is for any members who wish to check in.  It is conducted and the information provided is similar, if not the same, as our Countywide Net.



Our nets, depending on the capability of the hosting District Station, are typically conducted over the following bands; 2M, 6M, 10M, 23CM and 220.  We do not publish our frequencies however if you wish to listen in or better yet, join our ranks, please send an email request by clicking here.
